As a South African family we often have a “braai”, as many people do. For as long as we can remember we felt braai tongs were not up to scratch, so we decided to design our own.
We started making prototypes and they developed into unique and versatile tongs that can do more than just braai. Over the years we have made slight alterations to perfect them into THE TONGS we are making today.
We assemble THE TONGS ourselves in Pretoria with the help of a small and loyal workforce that make up our family business. The star of the show is Susan Stander, who markets the products.

What is a “braai”?

A braai is when people get together to put some meat on the fire. It may also be called “barbeque” in some countries. Braai tongs are associated with braais. They are there to manage the meat, short tongs for small fires and long tongs for large fires.
